JOB DESCRIPTION:
Axis is looking for a creative, driven and goal oriented project manager that have the ability to promote good team spirit and a creative work environment. As a Project Manager at Core Technologies - Analytics & Systems you’re duties will include:
• Project management of technology qualifications and
projects. Typically several projects/qualifications are
run in parallel
• Enforce the collaboration with other development units
• Contribute to develop our processes and methodology
• Planning and resource estimations
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
We believe you have a Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering and some years of project management experience. Project management training and experience with project management tools such as MS-Project is required. Experience of management of parallel projects and from using agile development methods are highly desired.
Very good Swedish and English communication skills, both oral and writing are required.
If you have experience of some additional area(s) within network architecture, system design, image and audio analysis or distributed audio/video applications it is considered as a merit. Experience with algorithm development projects and/or system SW projects is preferred.
Furthermore we believe you have good organizational skills and the ability to work in and adapt to a changing environment and to handle multiple running projects.
To be successful you should be innovative and able to think outside the box.
THE TEAM
The Core Technologies – Analytics & Systems team is responsible for the long-term technology agenda within the strategic areas Analytics and Systems. We perform technology roadmapping; execute the roadmap by developing technologies and assist toward platform integration of technologies. We also act as a competence centre within Axis with regard to the core competence areas.
The Analytics & Systems competence group within Core Technologies focus their work on identifying and implementing technologies aimed at increasing the value of the network for surveillance applications. This includes image analysis, object tracking, media technologies, cloud computing and communication as well as leveraging system functionality by developing and exploiting synergies across the network. The time frame for the work is 3-5 years.
