About the role
As part of our global security strategy, we are looking for a new member to join our global security team as Global Project Manager - Protect Information and Data Loss Prevention to evolve our current data security strategy. In this position, you will be globally responsible for the protect information projects. You will be working within the Group IT, in close collaboration with other project managers in the security program portfolio, global security team, business areas, functions and product companies within Atlas Copco is a key part of your role, to ensure sustainable and profitable growth of the security program portfolio. The main program scope is to ensure the utmost protection of sensitive information, particularly Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and to implement effective Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies and capabilities within the group. Our mission is to safeguard data integrity, confidentiality, and availability across all products and services in the IT/OT environments.

• Program Management responsibilities within cybersecurity and data protection.
• Plan, initiate, and manage the protect information projects in the program roadmap.
• Define projects scope, goals, and deliverables for each project for the program.
• Ensure projects in Protect Information are executed within budget and timeline.
• Establish a framework that safeguards sensitive data, ensures compliance with regulations, and mitigates the growing risks associated with data breaches and cyber threats.
• Responsible for implement a robust and comprehensive data protection strategy using Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Azure, M365, and other third-party systems.
• Implement robust data classification mechanisms to categorize data based on sensitivity.
• Apply encryption to sensitive data at rest and in transit to prevent unauthorized access.
• Deploy endpoint security solutions to protect data on user devices and prevent data leakage.
• Implement DLP policies to prevent the unauthorized transfer or sharing of sensitive data.
• Implement policies for data retention and disposal to manage data lifecycle effectively.
• Establish a data governance framework to ensure accountability, ownership, and compliance.
• Forecasting protects information requirements and development of robust security controls.
• Design and maintain security controls to protect PII and sensitive data.
• Facilitating seamless communication between business units and protect information engineers for effective control implementation and refinement.
• Collaborate with Change Management & Communication, in order to build security awareness & training initiatives.
• Collaborating with security teams to drive the growth and evolution of our Protect Information Program, advocating for the adoption of Protect Information tools and techniques.
• Generate regular reports on data security performance and compliance.

What we expect from you
• Academic degree in relevant field, as master's degree in computer science.
• Experience from Data Security Project Management, with deployment and administration of Protect Information and Data Loss Prevention capabilities.
• Experience with one or more Compliance tools including Microsoft Purview.
• Knowledge of M365 Platform capabilities: Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint.
• Understanding of standards like NIST Cyber Security Framework and requirements and ability to apply them to an enterprise environment.
• Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and sponsors.
• Relevant certifications in Security such as Microsoft SC-400, CISSP, CISM or equivalent.
• Experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment with English as group language.
