hela Sverige At AkzoNobel Adhesives in Årsta we have global development laboratories and quality testing of our wood adhesives used for furniture, flooring and constructions. The commercial departments for marketing- and sales are also placed in Årsta. The wood adhesives and resin that are developed is then produced at Adhesives production site in Kristinehamn. In Årsta there are various positions within chemistry and automation such as chemists, product managers, project leaders and automation engineers. Annually we develop and improve our adhesives and technical solutions in cooperation with customers all over the world.
We are now looking for a Project leader who can strengthen our Solutions EMEA team in our wood adhesives R&D department. The position is temporary during parental leaves in our team. What will you do?
In this position you will lead, execute, report and contribute in smaller R&D projects, lab work requests and complaints within wood adhesives R&D. You will together with our team support functions like Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Procurement. You will also perform experimental work within the projects, including synthesis, formulation and evaluation in our laboratory environment.
You and your skills
To be successful in this position you need a technical educational background in relevant fields, such as Chemistry (preferably Master of Science), Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, Polymer chemistry, Physical chemistry, Wood and fiber technology or similar. We also see that you have 3-6 years of relevant experience within project management, working together with Integrated supply chain, procurement, marketing or sales.
As a person you need to have good communication skills and be able prepare and deliver presentations and reports for senior management across more than one function at an appropriate level of technical details. You have the ability to simplify and teach complex technical concepts and to engage with customers and other external stakeholders at appropriate levels.
You have good skills in English and Swedish, both in writing and verbally.
