Siemens AB, Power & Gas, is now seeking for a:
Project Lead for Electrical Engineering
What are my responsibilities?
You will be responsible for the management and performance of assigned I&C / Electrical Engineering tasks in power plant projects. Further more you will ensure the financial success of the assigned tasks while taking into account (or optimizing) normative and technical requirements and customer specifications.
Technical project implementation in I&C / Electrical Engineering areas, including:
• Identification of conceptual HW requirements for different types of plants and customers
• Definition of project-specific HW engineering tools and processes
• Generation of electrical engineering/I&C concepts
• Technical clarifications and system meetings
• Detailed design, HW FAT
• Site services (installation supervision, site management)
• Training of customer and internal personnel
Work package planning, controlling and reporting:
• Planning of work packages, including technical requirements, deadlines and costs
• Planning of partner interfaces
• Regular monitoring of the work package implementation
Risk and opportunity management:
• Assessment and evaluation of factors that significantly influence the project
• Identification and analyzing of risks and opportunities, implementation of taken measures
Quality management:
• Application of prescribed standards, norms, tools and methods
• Continuous implementation of efficient workflows and processes
Strategic Responsibility:
• Sales support, offering and service process
What do I need to qualify for the role?
• University degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering or similar
• Project experience in the field of I&C / Electrical planning, engineering, test, installation and commissioning
• Experience as Technical Lead or consultant in various power plant projects
• Construction site experience
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
• Travelling flexibility
• Knowledge/experience in working with SIMATIC products would be an advantage
