The Surface Division Safety Health Environment and Quality (SRD SHEQ) organization is, among other things, responsible for ensuring processes and that the right skills are in place within the entire operation to drive continuous quality and SHE improvements, both in how we work within the operation and on our products.
The Production Quality department is a part of the SRD SHEQ organization, where we are responsible for arrival control, complaints against suppliers and support for production in general quality matters.
Your mission
As Production Quality Manager, you will lead and coordinate daily activities within the Production Quality department. You are part of the production 's strategic management team and report to SRD Örebro PC SHEQ Manager.
In this role you will plan, lead, and support daily activities within the department and activities to resolve quality disruptions in production. You will lead SHEQ 's daily pulse meeting, participate and support general SHE activities and projects. You will also maintain and continue to develop quality processes within production and routines within the own department.

In this role you will perform and follow up a report on quality KPIs to different stakeholders and implement activities to improve a better outcome. An important part is to ensure that cross-functional improvement teams within production work effectively and that we follow routines and requirements set by both internal and external stakeholders. That includes to give the Supplier Quality Assurance team (SQA) support in communication and the setting of requirements towards the suppliers.

Your profile
For the position as a Production Quality Manager we are looking for you who have a technical degree or equivalent work experience.

We would like you to have experience within production quality and hope you have experience within the manufacturing industry or similar business.

In this position you will lead 17 employees and therefore we would like you to have previous experience leading and motivate a team.

We would like you to have knowledge in some agile methodic as Lean, Sex Sigma, 8D or others.

You have good experience working in Office 365 especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Swedish and English verbal and written knowledge is required for this position.

The personal skills are very important for this position. We are looking for you who are stimulated by a varied work pace. Someone that can analyze and prioritize between tasks and quickly change focus when needed. You are a determined and committed person that enjoys solving problems, especially quality problems. You will work with a wide network of contacts and therefore it's important that you have great communication and social skills.

This position is located in Norra Bro Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
