About the position
As a Production Engineer you will be a key person in the development of new and improved production processes, with a focus on control systems. We are proud to have a highly automated production with chemical processes, multiple transport systems, packaging machines and an order controlled batch process. As we aim for flexible production processes, with product traceability and Industry 4.0 practices in mind, we need control systems with both integrity and the ability to collect large amounts of data for continuous process improvement.
Your key accountabilities are;
• Design, risk- and requirements handling as well as testing and validation of control systems for highly automated production of Medical Device products.
• Integration of machine line and components with a systems perspective on process control, traceability and communication with MES/SCADA systems.
• Technical project management in cross-functional development projects in various stages from concept to commissioning and handover.
• Develop documentation in compliance with quality management system built on regulatory requirements from the European medical device directive and the FDA quality systems regulations.

We believe you have
• an academic background, preferably in automation, electrical/computer engineering or equivalent with several years of experience in process development with focus on control systems in automated production
• an in-depth understanding of control systems and some experience in programing
• experience from working with technical specifications and external suppliers
• some technical project management experience and/or Change management skills including Lean/Six sigma
• some experience from testing/validation, preferably within life science or other highly regulated industry
• knowledge of ISA 95, SQL databases, and PLC/HMI/SCADA programming (preferably Siemens S7)
• documentation and communication skills, in English as well as in Swedish.
