The desired candidate should have:
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive and diverse experience in digital product development
• Experience in and comfortable with making decisions based on hard and soft data
• Extensive knowledge of and interest in the Retail industry and particularly the processes of operating in physical stores and online and have experience in sales and payments
• Experience in CRM/ cloud-based technology platforms
• Experience in development of web and mobile applications
• Extensive experience with Agile or DevOps development practices, particularly owning and running specific agile events such as backlog refinement and sprint reviews
• Extensive experience in developing/writing user stories with quantified user benefits.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal and are able to make decisions in a timely and effective manner using sound judgments
• A data-driven approach to decision making, both in day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs
• Experience in creating education material and conducting training sessions both onsite and remotely
• Knowledge of IKEA's corporate identity, share our core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
• Experience of conducting market research to achieve a good understanding of customer and co-worker needs and expectations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The Product Specialist supports Product Owners in making tactical decisions by measuring, analysing and reporting on the performance of digital products.
You will:
• Support Product Owners in tactical decision making with analysis results and insight.
• Serve as subject matter expert for product teams providing insights, context and additional information as needed to help understanding of what is required
• Work with co-workers & stakeholders to understand and quantify in-depth their needs and requirements and in cooperation with Product Owner include and integrate into the product
• Interpret and share understanding of requirements/needs with product team, providing context, as needed to ensure what they develop, and deliver is what is expected from consumers.
• Test, measure, analyse and report on the performance of the Digital Products against business goals and digital objectives/key results
• Be responsible for all product related analysis, utilizing both customer and product data
• Prepare detailed education material for co-workers and consumers of digital product on the functioning of the product, Wiki, FAQs etc.
• Support Product Owners in writing JIRA user stories and documenting product details in Confluence and other systems.
• Conduct detailed training sessions for targeted consumers and markets for them to understand product, how to use the product, FAQs etc. either onsite or remotely
• Work cross functional to ensure that the agile teams have sufficient product insights to maximize the delivery of digital products.
ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
The team in the Sales & Payment Capability Area work towards providing the most convenient purchase experience towards our customers, providing delight in every interaction. We have high ambitions where we want to redefine the checkout both online and in our stores. You will join an area which have 26 digital products across 7 different domains covering everything from purchase planning, checkout, Sales Lead, Co-worker tools, Payment and financing.
In this role you will report to the Product Manager.
This role is located in Malmö.
