We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars' journey into the future.

This is us
Connected Experience, ConX, is a unit within R&D which includes Connectivity and Car Cloud Platform, Infotainment Platform, Remote Functions, Data- & Diagnostics Platform as well as HW & Mechatronics. The eART Solution Integration & Release is supporting the complete product stream by continuously integrating our products on a domain level and by releasing domain baselines according to the needs of the car projects.
Our mission is to provide fast and valuable feedback about the quality status of our product stream covering both current- and future model and to support and give guidance for the total need for verification tools, frameworks and test objects and set up test environments for both ART verification and Solution Integration testing. Now we are looking for curious, creative people who want to change the world through innovative thinking - specifically a passionate Product Owner that can lead our two Test Object teams and deliver outstanding service to support the ConX developers with up-to-date test objects, rigs and cars and also to lead the long term planning and financial outlook for the Conx future test objects roadmap.
What you will do
As Product Owner, you will maximize value by owning and deciding upon priorities in the Test Objects teams' backlog. You are the voice of the Test Object product area where you have both the business perspective and the technical know-how.
You will be articulating and consistently emphasizing the short- and long-term vision of the services provided by the team with relevant stakeholders and work in close cooperation with surrounding teams and ARTs within ConX to understand the needs of the organization.
You will also be owning, building, prioritizing and refining the features/stories in the team backlog including defects, continuous improvements and enablers as well as participating in the development of acceptance criteria and drafting them when feasible. Involving the team in backlog refinement to achieve minimum handover and maximum joint understanding as well as understanding the scope of the upcoming enabler work, collaborating with the team and architects to assist with decision-making.
We believe it's important you are available to the teams and answering their questions as well as participating in sprint team demos and retrospective (if requested by the team).
You will actively coordinate content dependencies with other Product Owners.

You will be a member of the extended eART leadership team and work with improvements both internally for the eART but also in close cooperation with other ARTs and Teams across the company.
Who are you?
To thrive in this position, we believe that you have a versatile background from working with software and hardware components, testing, tools and processes. You probably have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. You are experienced in driving product strategy and have both technical Product leadership and business strategy competence.
You genuinely embrace teamwork and collaboration across teams and ARTs. You are excellent at communication and relationship building between teams and global stakeholders. You have a positive attitude, are self-managed and proactive. You are service minded, flexible and eager to learn, with a growth and agile mindset. Further, you are well organized, structured and thorough with documentation.
