About Pelago Bioscience Pelago Bioscience, founded 2013, is a Swedish Contract Research Organisation (CRO) with approximately 50 employees. Since December 2021, we have been based in the Campus Solna area, working from a beautifully designed activity-based office paired with a state-of-the-art laboratory space with a view.

As we continue our expansion, we are now seeking a Product Manager. The role will be a key player in further defining and enhancing our customer offering.

Your new role As Product Manager, you will lead the development and lifecycle management of service products built around mass spectrometry-based, targeted CETSA® (Cellular Thermal Shift Assay), support the performance of existing and launching products, and be instrumental in shaping the future of Pelago Bioscience's global product/services portfolio.

You will join a warm, collaborative and science-driven environment where curiosity and innovation are part of everyday life. The position is based at our headquarters in Solna, with limited, planned travel a few times per year.
You will report to the Head of Marketing and Products, a collaborative leader who serves as a trusted sounding board. They create an environment where ideas can grow into action, cross-functional thinking is encouraged, and open, curious dialogue is valued.

If you bring a business mindset, commercial experience, and a strong proteomics background (e.g., mass spectrometry-based protein quantification, sample-prep optimisation, LC-MS method development, and large-scale dataset analysis), we'd love to connect.

Responsibilities:

* Translating business strategy into product strategy
* Manage the product/service lifecycle, including pricing (i.e. own the business case) and portfolio optimisation
* Translate market data, customer insights, and competitive analysis into clear, actionable decisions
* Consolidate qualitative feedback from the commercial team with quantitative market and usage data to drive evidence-based product decisions
* Run interviews, gather feedback, and validate product hypotheses
* Define target audiences, product positioning, messaging, and value propositions
* Collaborate with R&D to develop data supporting marketing initiatives
* Work with the marketing communications team and commercial leadership on the development of key marketing messages, launch packages and general promotional material
* Create materials for, and provide product training to the commercial team



What you'll need to succeed To succeed in the role of Product Manager, you need:

* Minimum a bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field

* Minimum 3-5 years' commercial experience, preferably within the life science industry, e.g., product management, sales or application/scientific support

* Experience working with customers within pharma & biotech, preferably in early drug development of small molecule drugs

* Fluency in English, written and spoken

* Hands-on experience with mass spectrometry-based assays

As a person, you have:

* Strong communication and collaboration skills

* Ability to conduct, prioritise and synthesise customer research

* Ability to translate strategic goals into tactics and operational plans

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

* Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
