Scania Engines is a business area within Scania responsible for sales and development of industrial, power generation and marine engines. The Engine business is doing very well with a new all-time high expected for 2018 and we are definitely on track towards the ambitious 2020 target!
The current Product Manager for power generation engines is moving on and we are now looking for a new person to continue the interesting journey for this segment.
Your role
As a Product Manager you will have a key role in the organisation to reach the 2020 (and beyond) targets. You will be the speaking partner for the power generation segment to the rest of the organisation to set the future marketing-, product- and sales strategies together with the rest of Scania Engines. That means that you will have job full of variety and creativity on a daily basis. To succeed you should also be able to combine your technical background with a genuine commercial interest. This with ambition to learn and fully understand the customer demands and needs, better than anyone else!
The work environment is both international and internal and the job requires travelling around the globe, approx. 30 days per year. You will report to Anders Liss, Vice President Sales, Scania Engines.
Your profile
We think you have at least 2-6 years experience from technical related businesses. We also think you are self-driven, analytic and commercial.
You also enjoy communication, and presentations in different forums is something you are looking forward doing.
You speak and write English fluently and additional language skills and experiences from working with different cultures are considered as merit.
