Responsibility:

As Product Manager in our Fine Chemicals department you will find the benefits of being in a large international corporation, still with the entrepreneurial atmosphere of a small business unit and an experienced team with an open culture. You will work with premium quality products, supplied to the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, electronic and food industry as well as laboratories. This position gives you the opportunity to develop and grow together with us.

The purpose of this role is to contribute in maximizing sales of our Fine Chemical products by defining and implementing marketing strategies in line with the overall strategies. This includes identify customer needs, set goals for new products, ensure implementation of them and align with other stakeholders.

You will also focus on business maintenance and/or growth via the coordination of cohesive product and/or product portfolio planning and support market intelligence to gather information on e.g. competition, market trends, dynamics and market research.

Main responsibilities:
• Represent the marketing intelligence for the product area regarding market size, competitors, market shares, market trends and strength/weakness.
• Propose a global price structure, assortment of products, quality and promotion activities.
• Responsible for benchmarking of competitor produtcs.
• Propose long-term strategies and if applicable R&D activities.
• Keep knowledge about our cost situation and how it is influenced by alternative strategies. Follow up and report our performance in the area.
• Responsible for the global marketing budget within the product area. Drive the creation of sales promotion materials, such as brochures, advertisements and exhibition panels.
• Increase the level of prescence, on the market, through appropriate delegation of marketing and customer activities.
• Contribute to the Commercial Excellence yearly governance cycle according to PC Management system.
• Regular contact with the selected distributor network! Regular contact with marketing channels, e.g. magazines, web sites, social media forums.

• Academic degree (minimum Bachelor), preferably in chemical engineering or chemistry, or equivalent work experience in relevant field.
• Preferably 3 years' experience in marketing and sales of products with high quality demands.
• Excellent knowledge in English, both oral and in writing.
• Skilled at organizing, prioritizing workflow, and perform analysis from text and numerous data sources.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and in writing
