hela Sverige We are looking for a Product Manager to AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals, Fine Chemicals. In the role of Product Manager you will maximize the customer awareness of our Fine Chemical products by implementing the marketing strategies. You will identify new customer needs and set goals for new products. It's your responsibility to support market intelligence to gather information on competition, market trends, dynamics and market research.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Represent the marketing intelligence for the product area regarding market size, competitors, market shares, market trends and strength/weakness.
• Propose long-term strategies and if applicable research and development activities.
• Keep knowledge about our cost situation and how it is influenced by alternative strategies.
• Responsible for the global marketing budget within the product area.
• Drive the creation of sales promotion materials, such as brochures, advertisements and exhibition panels.
We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, economics, sales or marketing. You can also have equivalent work experience in relevant field. We think that you have minimum 3 years' experience in marketing and sales of products with high quality demands, or experience from working as a chemist or chemical engineer. You are fluent in English.
To be successful in this position we believe that you have strong communication skills, both oral and in writing. You are skilled at organizing, prioritizing workflow, and coordinating the work of others.
