Overview
The objective of this role is to facilitate the development of the product portfolio vision for the targeted brand position. This role cooperates closely with the Innovation teams, PC R&D, BU TPMs to facilitate effective product management for the brand position. This role is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, however, we are flexible with candidates coming from other locations.
Main Tasks
Collaborate with the Innovation teams to recommend to the Brand Director the overall target brand position product portfolio assortment.
Actively drive and/or participate in selected development, upgrade, improvement and launch projects.
Works with the innovation teams to clearly document the RTB and the positioning of each product family.
Collaborates with PC R&D and BU TPMs to support as well as build transparency of product changes - adaptations as well as quality & cost improvements.
Builds an effective network of product management professionals within the Business units & GHC.
Documents the overall product portfolio vision for the targeted brand position.
Work with innovation teams to develop and document the reason to believe and the positioning of each product family in line with overall strategy and offer for the target audience.
Supports the Business units & R&D in implementation of activities when needed.
On behalf of the Global Brand Director, develop main claim territory areas for target audience.
Act as content owner for the product information in PIM for the target audience.
Ensure transparency between GHC and the BU for Mandatory parameters.
Decision support to Global Brand Director.
Represents the target audience in selected areas such as standardization, medical device directives, claims handling and mandatory parameters.
Key Competencies
Technical understanding of how products are manufactured.
Experience in sales & marketing, project and change management.
Solid PM and 6 sigma skills.
Knowledge of local regulatory requirements to be able to deal with claims, business acumen, customer orientation external & internal.
Structured and attentive to details.
Education and Experience
7+ years of experience in product management.
Strong communication skills - Ability to express complex ideas & information into a precise manner.
Ability to work in a fast pace & many priorities setting.
International experience and exposure.
Good understanding of product - technical & market understanding.
