hela Sverige Unique opportunity to join the Procurement team at Saab Surveillance! We are looking for a communicative and business driven leader to manage the team responsible for Harnesses and electromechanical components.
Your role
As Manager within Category Procurement Surveillance, you are a line Manager for a team consisting of Strategic and Operative Buyers within a certain product category. Your responsibility will be Harnesses and electromechanical components and our experts in Strategic and Operative procurement are located in Järfälla, Göteborg, Huskvarna and Arboga.
By driving business performance and improvements in the Procurement process, you play a central role in contributing to the business area Surveillance targets. Creating high performing teams that work efficient cross Saab sites to gain highest possible synergies is an important part of your role.
Your role in short includes:
* Commercial responsibility for all supplier agreements
* Quality, delivery and cost performance from the suppliers
* Increased Agreement coverage and implementation of agreements in all purchasing orders
* Establishing supplier relationships with regular Business Review Meetings with key suppliers
* Operational development of processes, methods and tools together with Procurement driver and Process owner
* Securing business compliance towards internal and external business requirement
You will be travelling on a regular basis to Saab sites as well as suppliers, both domestic and internationally.
Your profile
We believe that you have experience from managerial positions or experience from strategic sourcing roles and are eager to develop your leadership skills. You have an educational background within engineering, logistics, economy or equivalent work experience. You ensure a high service level towards internal stakeholders, always with high set of standards and business orientation.
To be successful in this role you are a strong communicator and a business-driven leader. As a person, you have high engagement and networking skills to establish cross-functional networks spread between all Saab Surveillance sites. You are fluent in both English and Swedish.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
