Indirect Procurement is a fundamental contributor for the achievement of company objectives and is part of the Procurement organization. What you'll do:
The Marketing and Travel Procurement Director leads the development and execution of procurement strategies for marketing-related goods and services, and Travel Services, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and alignment with organizational objectives. You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and supporting company growth in collaboration with marketing and cross-functional teams.
You are a people leader, who can go the extra mile and lead the team in converting ideas and concepts into projects and actions and act as a real business partner for our internal stakeholders with a strong proactive approach.
You ensure that common methodologies are developed and applied in the procurement teams in the different regions, and you will leverage best practices.
We are looking for a leader who is very well-organized and open-minded, who has a proven track record of being an influencer to inspire the relevant stakeholders in the global organization. We are seeking a person who understands the impact of purchasing on and who is inspired by co-delivering with different functions and levels in the organization.
Our ambition is to maximize value and efficiency in Electrolux marketing spend while maintaining strong supplier partnerships and supporting overall business growth.

In detail:
Develop and implement procurement strategies for marketing categories (e.g., media, creative agencies, digital, events) to optimize cost, quality, and delivery
Drive the category management strategy for travel expenses (Airlines, agencies, car fleet, hotels...)
Lead sourcing initiatives and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and drive sustainable savings
Cultivate strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Finance, Sales, and E-commerce teams, to understand business needs and ensure procurement alignment
Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and foster continuous improvement and innovation
Analyze market trends, assess risks, and identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures and Group Travel Policy
Manage procurement budgets, track savings, and prepare regular reports for senior leadership
Mentor and develop procurement team members, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability
Who you are:
Degree in Procurement, Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred
Extensive experience in indirect procurement, (minimum 5-7 years), with at least 7 years in marketing (procurement or related departments or adjacent functions)
Proven track record of success in global, matrixed organizations
Good communication and stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally
Demonstrated ability in driving transformation and change, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Solid business acumen and a clear focus on delivering measurable results
Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset
Willingness to travel internationally as needed, to support global teams and business priorities
