Process owner of incident handling for connectivity at Scania
Connectivity at Scania is one of the key components in Scania's "driving the shift" strategy. At the department Connected Systems (EC), 100+ R&D wizards work with enabling solutions all the way from the vehicle mounted telematics unit to the Scania service platform in the cloud.
Connectivity in general is all about Data. Data in large volumes in a flexible and usable way is a key success factor for organisations that want to survive the digital shift. Scania today have over 700 000 (and counting) vehicles with software connected online. We have started the development of the next generation Devops service management for the connected vehicles and services including incident management.
Team responsibility
You will be working within the group that is responsible for the process for incident handling. The team includes today technical specialist that also implements consumers in our incident and monitoring platform. Incident managers, product owner and project manager are other roles within the team. Since we are in a fresh start up it is a great opportunity to join now and be part of designing the future for Scania!
As a process owner you will be heavily involved in defining the process goals, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and the measures that are aligned with the organization strategies. You will be responsible for the backlog to maintain the process and support with the parallel flows needed to set the standard execution of incident management process . As a process owner you will also support with the measure points to the consumers and work to improve their uptime. You will collaborate closely with product owners, Devops and management teams at Connected Systems as well as other teams within R&D to synchronize the process improvement plans within the value chain and other interfacing processes. You will be the main stakeholder for the process of Incident and be supportive during the teams PI planning since R&D using the methodology of SAFE.
Who you are
You are a motivated person who know Incident way of working from ITIL and Devops perspective. You like to be in the centre of development and like networking and collaboration. You have a genuine interest in technology, are structured and can handle both urgent topics and long-term planning. You have good interpersonal skills and know how to keep your stakeholders informed and engaged.
As a process owner we believe you have experience within some of the areas below.
• Agile structure
• Project management
• SAFE
• ITIL foundation
• Incident management
The process owner needs a technical understanding of software and to be efficient we think you have experience within one or several of the technical and tools listed below is favoured.
• Supporting production and back-office support
• Jira Service Management
• AWS Cloud
• Grafana
You most likely have knowledge in the areas of cloud, IoT/ connectivity and software development connected to vehicles.
