Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
Overall areas of responsibility and activities
· Control plan development, review and approval for each Project for each Production Phase (including setting review meetings with the involved departments acc. To CP procedure, uploading in PLM for approval and review the CP spec. in cloud)
• Perform MSA attributive for the operators which are assign for the visual inspection
• Check shipping list before delivery in terms of measurements values vs. specification
• Monitor quality data using statistical process control to identify points where the process could be trending out of specification. Responsible of preparing the PPK reporting and monitor the results, address any deviation to production technology team in order to stabilize the process or improve it
• Be the driver of the team for risk assessment for releasing the cells from Restricted Status to Ok Status in Trace
• Perform on spot quality audits (related with the CAPA defined and implemented as results of NCs) on the shop floor according to defined SOP, Procedures, CP, etc.
• Follow the nonconformities in Jira in order to close them together with the team
• Perform correlation measurement between P&L and EOL CF measurement after the CO.
• Responsible for the containment action (including the segregation of the cells).
• Monitor and identify, and quantify quality issues on the daily basis. Implement CAPA to reduce waste and scrap due to poor quality products.
• Lead trouble shooting and root cause analysis activities in relation to non-conformities and quality issues, e.g. 8D and non-conformity reporting for internal deviation and make sure that the actions (corrective and preventive) are implemented and closed
• Develop, write, implement and audit standard procedures and instructions according to IATF16949 or ISO 9001:2015 or VDA6.3?
• Support tasks of documentation and records for Production Quality
• Facilitate continuous updating of PFMEAs by working in multidisciplinary teams with process engineering, R&D etc.
• Train production staff and support development of production documentation, e.g. SOPs
• Participate in the Engineering Change Notification review meetings in order to make sure that the change is implemented in his/her area of responsibility (update PFMEA; CP; WI/SOP; etc)
• Participate and input to quality gate reviews in the industrialization phase of Product Development to ensure reliable manufacturing of products
• Active participation to all projects improvement from his area of responsibility (product improvement, process improvement, system improvement (e.g Cpk calculation automatically implementation together with the Digitalization team, scrap reporting )
• Evaluation criteria definition in agreement with Cell Design and Customer Quality Team -documentation and implementation
• Be part from the Core Team during deviation requests approval evaluation
• Participate in an 8D meetings for Customer complaint if the nonconformity is related with his area of responsibility
• Participate in Customer Audits and internal Audits for his area of responsibility
Requirements
Education or other qualifications or competences relevant in order to succeed in the job
Minimum Education / Experience Requirements
• BSC/MSc degree in Chemistry/Manufacturing/Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant work experience within high volume assembly/production
• Experience of quality management in relevant industry, e.g. battery, automotive, pharma, food, pulp & paper, FMCG
• Expert in non-conformity management and 8D
• Expert in MSA, SPC (minitab) and process capability
• Project management skills and a successful track record of leading quality improvement projects in manufacturing
• Automotive core tools training
• Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
• Highly organized and results driven
• An eye for detail
• Exceptionally good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as independently
