Sandvik Coromant is currently in the transition to a new business platform for our global operational processes. The integrated business processes will be implemented and managed in an ERP environment. We are now looking for a Process Architect who will strengthen our team to ensure business driven development, implementation and management of our processes. The position is based in Sandviken reporting to the Process Owner for Quotation to Delivery.
Key performance areas
As a Process Architect you will be responsible to lead coordination and prioritization of the needs of the business processes within the scope of enquiry-to-cash. The objective is to implement integrated and cost-effective solutions that add value to our business operations. Your tasks will include:
• Moderate and facilitate activities together with the business process teams to challenge and improve the processes. That includes support to design processes and set relevant KPIs.
• Secure integration between main and supporting business processes to achieve optimal end-to-end solutions.
• Coordinate and prioritize business requirements and ensure delivery of solutions.
• Support the process and business owners in decision making concerning process design, change management, governance and implementation.
• Ensure that process documentation, business rules and decisions are kept up to date with input from the process owners and support from IT Business Architects.
• Initiate and participate in process improvement pre-studies
Your profile
You have a Master of Science or bachelor's degree within mechanical- or industrial management and engineering and at least three years of experience of process development or project management. You have an overall understanding of how the enquiry to cash, including finance, processes can bring value to our customers and to Sandvik Coromant. Experience from the cutting tool industry is merited.
As a person you are self-motivated, with good analytical abilities. You are creative and open to change, with the ability to transfer knowledge to others and to prioritize tasks. You take a holistic view and have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. The position involves a number of international contacts and requires fluency in English, in both speaking and writing.
