- with responsibility to support Scania in safeguarding personnel data and integrity.

As a consequence of the new EU regulations which deal with privacy and personal data protection, GDPR, Scania needs to strengthen our work in this area, and therefore seek a Privacy Officer in Human Resources area.The position will belong to Labor Law, a specialist group working with labour law and labour relations in corporate Human Resources based in Södertälje, Sweden.The role is new, so there are great opportunities to shape and develop processes and working methods. You will have a global responsibility where one of the challenges is to initially set up a common European operation and in the long term other areas of Scania outside the EU.

As HR's Privacy Officer you are a part of Scania's Privacy team with other POs from other domains and have a close working relationship with Scania's DPO, Data Protection Officer. The role will be evaluated after a 2 year period.

Your main tasks

Support and advise in privacy issues for Scania globally
Conduct trainings, responsible for information and communication
Ensure that there is an awareness of personal integrity within Scania
Facilitate risk analyses - so called data impact assessment, DPIA
Develop HR specific principles, guidelines and instructions
Aggregate and follow-up status of integrity and risk reporting globally
Represent HR in the Scania Privacy Forum

Other additional tasks:

Support within XLL's other areas of responsibility and processes
Actively drive questions about the quality of personal data
Attend as a Privacy Representative for Global HR data
Attend as Privacy Representative in "Data Driven HR"

Your profile
You have a university degree with focus on law or HR. IT knowledge is also of merit - as well as several years of work experience in one or more of these areas.

You are familiar with HR processes and HR IT's product portfolio, as well as knowledge of relevant labour regulations as well as used to conducting trainings, workshops and information meetings. Excellent skills in English, both written and oral, is a requirement, other languages are of merit.
