hela Sverige Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The position offers a lot of challenges for the skilled who enjoys working with privacy and data protection in complex distributed information systems. You will be working closely with our development teams analysing solutions and providing advice as well as instructions within your field of expertise. You will facilitate the cooperation between departments and organizations which will be the fundament when developing state of the art technologies.
Your Tasks
Your job will also include, but not limited to:
• Help balance the interests of different parties.
• Develop privacy-related policies, and enforce such policies.
• Evaluate suppliers and contractors, and review data protection agreements.
• Help perform Data Protection Impact Assessments.
• Evaluate Security Levels of implementations and audit solutions.
• Oversee available data, flows of data and the Registry of Processing Activities.
• Help the organization to provide transparent information.
You will be an integral part of Scania Privacy Forum, headed by the Data Protection Officer, lifting R&D requirements to the DPO, and delegating responsibilities from the DPO to the R&D organization. Occasional travels is part of the position.
Your Profile
We are looking for you, a skilled professional who thrive in a role where you can make a difference. Your past experiences has given you a strong knowledge base to lean on and we think you will:
• Be fluent in English and Swedish, both orally and writing.
• Have experience in software architecture.
• Have experience in software development.
• Have experience with distributed and complex systems.
• Be Interested in privacy and cybersecurity, with hands-on experience (preferably with experience with available legislation.)
• Have good communication skills (with both machines and humans).
• Have experience with talking to audiences and defend propositions publicly.
• Have a university degree or similar, within a relevant field.
