advocate for data subjects by taking a driving role in privacy and data protection risk management activities;

advise a variety of stakeholders in privacy related matters and see your expertise come to life in real-world applications;

• have a say in how things are done by contributing to the design, implementation, and follow-up of internal privacy framework.

What is needed in this role:


minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a GRC function focused on privacy or data protection within an organization;


deep understanding of EU privacy and data protection legislation, EDPB guidelines, and leading privacy risk management practices and frameworks;


ability to implement data protection and privacy obligations within a business, including identifying privacy risks and implementing appropriate mitigating controls across various domains;


familiarity with technology and architecture as it relates to data, such as cloud environments, data flows, machine learning, and artificial intelligence;


skill in translating complex regulatory requirements into practical actions or controls and educating stakeholders at all levels of seniority;

• proven experience in learning new concepts, laws, regulations, and applying them to assigned responsibilities;


excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively across a matrix organization to influence decisions without formal authority;

• detail-oriented self-starter comfortable working independently or as part of a culturally diverse team;


full professional proficiency in English. Good command of Swedish is desirable;


academic degree in law, data protection, or information technology is beneficial;

• professional certification such as CIPP/E, CIPM or CIPT is preferred.
