The main focus of the group is the development of system-level technologies related to future versions of the electrical and electronic architecture. This means that we shall maintain a holistic perspective on the electronic architecture, rather than focusing on individual hardware or software components, and provide future product development projects with competitive solutions for the EE architecture. One aspect of this is to coordinate and drive the technical daily operations forward.
Job description
We are in the middle of a transformation into an agile way of working with technology development and advance engineering. We have, together with our sister groups, created an agile release train in which we coordinate several agile teams developing and investigating concepts and new technologies for our future EE architecture.
As a release train engineer you will play a key role in coordinating the work between these teams, drive and maintain the process and the needed tool support, and coach the teams in their agile way of working. To be successful in this position you need to have a broad technical understanding and experience of a variety of concepts for automotive electrical and electronic systems, ranging from system, hardware, software to development methodologies. We also see that you have an interest, drive and experience of either being a release train engineer, scrum master or project manager, with the ability to motivate and coach people and successfully interact with stakeholders. You are moreover a teamplayer with a result-oriented mindset who likes taking on challenging tasks and drive them to completion.
Profile and qualifications
• MSc in Computer engineering, Electrical engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience of working with various aspects of embedded systems for automotive
• Experience and genuine interest in leading agile teams or release trains (e.g. release train engineer or scrum master), or in project management
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
