As an Application Engineer involved in the sales process you will be leading sales and deployment of Incisive Advanced Verification Methodologies and Technologies together with the flows to implement them in various customer engagements.
Publiceringsdatum2014-03-21Arbetsuppgifter• Working with sales, leading the technical qualification, definition and creation of verification environment architectures;
• Perform methodology assessments, improve existing design techniques and develop new approaches that leverage Cadence technology and service offerings.
• Deployment of advanced verification methodologies and technologies with customers across a varied application space;
• Identifying and tracking customer issues, prioritizing those issues together with the customer and driving them to closure with Cadence R&D;
• Deliver training courses, workshops and Seminars covering the Incisive Platform core technologies.
• Be a strong team member and contributor, with the ability to lead team projects and initiatives working closely with the customer;
A key goal will be to demonstrate and increase the value to the customer of the Incisive Verification platform, minimize the effort and cost of customer adoption and maximize the customer

Profil• A proven track record in verification of leading edge SOCs - with strong design skills;
• Strong HVL (HW verification language) experience such as e, SystemVerilog, Vera, or C++ and associated methodologies - eRM, UVM, OVM, VMM;
• Verilog/VHDL knowledge for design and verification;
• Experience with Verification Planning & Management;
• Experience with Formal Verification and Assertion Based Verification (ABV);
• A working knowledge of UNIX/Linux, C-shell, tcl/TK programming and scripting;
• Effective working with all functions and at all levels within an organization;
• Project Management skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to articulate the value of high-value methodologies and flows;
The candidate should have a graduate level of understanding of Electronic Engineering concepts and a minimum of 5 years experience in relevant functional verification / support activities.
