TRATON is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Price/Cost Product Owner to join our Commercial Solution Team, at GPM. This role is critical in balancing cost management with value creation, ensuring our products meet market demands and profitability targets. As a bridge between engineering, finance, and business teams, you will drive decisions that impact pricing strategy, product profitability, and cost optimization.
Job Responsibilities * Act as the owner of the price property, ensuring alignment with TRATON's strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, finance, engineering, and sales, to evaluate price position in different regions and segments.
• Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to make data-driven recommendations.
• Ensure price transparency and accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide regular reporting on price and cost performance, including forecasts and variance analyses.
• Drive the development of digital tools and processes to improve efficiency in price management.
Who You Are
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. * Proven experience in product ownership, cost management, or pricing, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a track record of data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) and cost engineering principles.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or similar).
• Passion for innovation, sustainability, and creating value for customers.
