All about the role:
Portfolio team in Global Product Line has as main responsibility to drive the process for how we prioritize opportunities and allocate resources (workforce time and CAPEX) in the best way to deliver on our strategy.
What you'll do:
As a Portfolio lead in Food Preparation, you will be responsible for keeping an updated understanding on new opportunities being worked on all across the Business Areas, and helping to prepare proposals for how prioritization of those shall look like - in order for us to use our resources in the most effective way and have a balanced portfolio vs our strategic objectives. There are always more opportunities than what we have resources for. You will operate in fully cross-functional group, with e.g., Product Line, R&D, Design and DX.
You will also get to support the direction setting for the Product Line in the annual 3-year planning process by e.g., trend data analysis (e.g., market size & market shares development of Electrolux & competition), as well as other ad-hoc support tasks to make sure data and information is reliable and well structured.
In detail, you will:
• Organize and drive periodic sync huddles with Business Area category teams
• Support with analysis preparation for project portfolio / prioritization, and documents preparation of & outcome of product plan decision reviews
• Support with keeping key data sources info accuracy updated, e.g., CXBI (global sales data by SKU), PPM (resource planning tool), One List (ranked prio list of new un-started projects globally), Opportunity One Pager tool, etc.
• Consolidate global view of market (size, shares) on globally relevant level periodically (~2x / yr)
• Ad Hoc analysis and support for various Product Line strategy investigations (e.g., cost benchmarking, innovation opportunity scoping, financial performance, etc.)
Who you are:
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• Collaborative, with global coordination skills. Able to work closely with international category teams to stay aligned on product plans and priorities (e.g. product planning)
• Structured and analytical. Applies clear, logical thinking and uses data to support decisions and problem-solving
• Project management experience (cross-functional).
Capable of coordinating diverse teams, managing timelines, and delivering results
• Proficient in Excel, analytics, and data management (basic level, not programming)
