We are looking for a development oriented professional with a passion for continuous improvements in the way we work. Your competence today can be within IT, Finance or other analytical role. You love to analyze and problem-solve, as well as working in teams. You feel comfortable communicating and you get inspired by working in a multi-cultural context.
Main responsibilities
• Follow-up budget and actuals of Projects and Runtime and alert deviations, including communication
• Support Portfolio mgmt. colleagues to secure quality and accuracy of the IT portfolio
• Support in forecasting, ensure forecast precision and good control of cost as well as value and waste
• Interact and liaise with colleagues in the team, Digital Area Managers (and more) to secure the above
• Coordination and alignment with other TD/BA/GFs D&IT Offices and Group IT
• Support the area of Information Compliance with analysis as and specific tasks
• Support with ad hoc investigation and activities
Your future team
This is us, Volvo Trucks Digital & IT (VT DigIT) is responsible for End-to-End IT (architecture, compliance, requirements & overall orchestration of investment plans) and located in Gothenburg. In the role you will be a key player in securing transparency about the planned and ongoing portfolio activities that VT DigIT is leading. Together with the team you ensure that quality is guaranteed and with your eye for details, you can counteract any errors in the process. Your work is also contributing to the overall implementation of changed way of working within the function, targeting a more agile way of working whilst maintaining a strong strategic steering of the portfolio.
The role is located within the function Business Office & Information Compliance of VT DigIT and you will report to the VP of DigIT Business Office & Information Compliance.
Your experience is:
• Degree in Business Administration, IT or other relevant field
• Competent in the interpreting numeric data and financial information
• Good communication and presentation skills. Your English needs to be excellent, both written and spoken.
• Ability to take lead in specific areas or work autonomously in specific fields (e.g., investigations, analysis etc.)
• Understanding and interest in Digital deliveries
It is beneficial if you have a knowledge and interest in the dynamics and business models of Volvo Trucks, also in modern frameworks for Business and IT development (e.g., SAFE, Agile, etc.). Practice from IT or Process & IT department work is also a merit, but not a qualification.
