hela Sverige Are you an experienced program manager with a passion for retail and technology? A leading company in the fashion retail industry is looking for a Senior POS Program Manager to drive the launch of a new Point of Sale (POS) program.
Based in Stockholm, this full-time, on-site role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a high-impact initiative within a dynamic global organization. The assignment is set to run until January 2026 with an immediate start.
About the role:As a Senior POS Program Manager, you will take ownership of a strategic initiative to implement a new Point of Sale (POS) program across the organization. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless execution, and aligning program outcomes with business goals. This role requires strong leadership, structured program execution, and the ability to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape.
Responsibilities: Develop and oversee a comprehensive POS program plan, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive successful program execution, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Monitor and track progress, ensuring program milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Evaluate program performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and ensuring strategic alignment.
Prepare and lead project and steering committee meetings, providing key updates and driving decision-making.
Collaborate with other program managers to ensure the POS initiative integrates effectively with broader business objectives.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced senior leader with a strong background in retail technology and Point of Sale (POS) solutions. You thrive in fast-paced environments, are comfortable managing complex stakeholder relationships, and have a track record of successfully delivering large-scale technology programs. Your ability to communicate a clear vision, drive alignment, and adapt to evolving priorities will be key to your success in this role.
Experience and skills: Proven experience in retail with a strong understanding of Point of Sale (POS) solutions.
Strategic decision-making skills, with the ability to solve problems quickly while maintaining program momentum.
Excellent stakeholder management, with experience navigating complex relationships across teams, executives, and external partners.
Strong communication skills, ensuring clear objectives, expectations, and alignment across the organization.
Adaptability and resilience, able to manage shifting priorities and risks in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated leadership skills, balancing long-term vision with short-term execution.
