Payroll Coordinator - Sweden | Barcelona

We are looking for a Payroll Coordinator with excellent English and Swedish skills.

Your role within our Kingdom

We have a great opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator to join our Shared Service Centre at King, Barcelona. As a growing business, our model changes and evolves all the time. Reporting to the Global Payroll Manager, this role will give the candidate an opportunity to develop and manage all aspects of payroll within a fast moving, growing business.

Responsibilities include:

General Payroll Processing
Setting new employees up on payroll ensuring all the correct documentation regarding new starters has been completed correctly.
Working with payroll data systems, inputting data and extracting reports, update internal payroll documentation and process maps.
Ensure legislative and regulatory compliance of payroll processing.
Assist in Salary & Benefits analysis and forecast, also assist in development of HR policies and procedures and subsequent implementation in payroll
Manage and support the global payroll standardization process
Manage the payroll processing of local company benefit scheme (ie: medical healthcare, meal card).
Provide administration support to the Payroll Manager and all employees (Payroll and Tax queries).

Project Support
Support project manager, project partners and Payroll Manager including attend project meetings, preparation of documents and meeting minutes, and follow-up on actions, timelines and deliverables.
Review Project results, highlight issues and report them in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure HR and Payroll data are aligned and information between both systems flows correctly.
Review test results and validate data migrations, uploads and data loading.
Cooperate with HR and other parties to standardize and centralize payroll activities in our Shared Service Centre.

Other skills include:

A relevant education/degree in Business, HR or equivalent.
High level of English and Swedish written and spoken is a must.
Excellent IT skills - particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Proven experience with Sweden Payroll is a must and Swedish HR background will be an advantage.

Tasty bonus skills:

Previous experience on Payroll implementations and system / process migrations with Outsourced Payroll providers.
Experience with Payroll accounting or Payroll GL mapping.
Experience working with HR information systems such as Workday, PeopleSoft or similar.
