We are hiring a Passionate Engineer for our Electrical system team. As a part of our team, you will design the electrical system for a wheel loader platform size. You and your colleagues are meeting the requests of the platform owners. Typically, you will collect requirements from the platform team and maybe propose better electrical solutions that you may be aware of from the department meetings. Together you then decide on a concept of function which you realize through a design in our 2D-CAD schematics tool and selecting components such as buttons and lights. The drawings your team creates are used to order wire harnesses from our external supplier. When receiving the sample-harness you participate in the workshop and inspect how the harness fits in the machine. You also receive feedback from verification engineers regarding the function of your design and make any necessary changes for serial production.
You will focus on designing parts of the electrical systems together with your teammates.
Working with Electrical systems you will need to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, for example the mechanical engineers that install harnesses in the machines using 3D-CAD.
You have the potential to start from simple concepts like connecting a simple wire from a battery to a lamp but growing your skills over the years to master more complex problems like Electro-magnetic Compatibility (EMC).

Depending on your profile you will, over time, develop into a very skilled engineer within electrical harness design or 3D CAD or component development or project lead or EMC or electrical safety & legal fulfillment
Good to Have
You have an Engineering degree within Electrical Engineering or similar related courses.
You have a growth mindset and are an effective collaborator in a diverse who can communicate in English. You enjoy learning new skills, but also to contribute to your colleagues' growth.
Preferred, Not Mandatory
As time passes by in your new position, you are expected to learn Swedish.
