hela Sverige Kalmar Services is looking for a highly motivated person with a good knowledge in service business and heavy machinery industry. You would be located in our office in Ljungby, Sweden.

As Parts Support Engineer you will be responsible for correct part information, thus making it possible to source and sell right parts to customers. In this role, your main task will be to cooperate with Kalmar's Central technical support, purchasing/ sales/customers and with product lines to get part input and feedback. Support our Kalmar Central parts sales and purchasing by adding value to parts origin investigation and reporting purposes.
This will also include:
Provide added value for item data content and verify data quality and completeness.
Particularly support with item related cases and content with Mobile Equipment documentation. Provide Parts & Logistics item data quality analysis for business stakeholders
Support best utilization of systems used in item management process.
Develop Item management processes with team.
To succeed in the role we see that you have at least 3 years of experience in service business, example in engineering, purchasing or sales. Master or Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering/logistics/industrial management/computer science/information technology. Also, we expect you to have the ability to interpret technical drawings. Knowledge of Kalmar's product offering is preferred. Experience of using PDM and ERP systems like SAP is seen as an advantage. Understanding and experience with spare part catalogue content production is also seen as a benefit.
As a person we expect you to be a problem solver, you have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with individuals and teams in international projects.
You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Other language skills are an advantage. Furthermore, you should have strong IT-skills and ability to work under pressure, and the dedication to keep agreed deadlines and get things done for our stakeholders. We are looking for a decision maker that can act alone within agreed policies. In this role you should be able to travel internationally.
