Volvo Trucks Services and Customer Quality support uptime, customer productivity and efficient workshop services and consist of the following functions: Business office & Governance, Productivity & New Concepts, Uptime & AM Vehicle Requirements, Parts & Service Contracts and Customer Quality & Warranty
We are now posting the position as Parts Price Segment Manager.
The position holder will work closely together with the sales regions and colleagues within Parts & Service Contracts to support to efficiently develop the price structures of the parts assortment person is responsible for. We strive to maximize sales penetration in profit for the company.
The position reports to the Manager of the Price Management.
Main activities and responsibilities
The position will have responsibility for a product assortment to manage its growth in revenue and gross profit. This is done by optimizing pricing methods and structures as well as driving cost improvement initiatives towards purchasing and track segment material cost.
In the optimization of pricing methods and structures, you will work with PPS methodology and continuously improving pricing structure & strategy based on regions/market inputs & benchmark information.
You will have close cooperation with markets/sales areas since they are the receiver of the prices and structures. As they will come with feedback, you will respond to these, and also price requests/complaints.
Within the Parts & Service Contract organization you work closely with business managers and product managers to define global segment strategy. Moreover, you provide project inputs for parts pricing aspects. When new parts are released, you will secure prompt availability of suggested retail & segmentation so parts will be available to be delivered and sold.

The candidate we look for has significant aftermarket experience, and previous experience as a market and/or regional price manager will be highly ranked. The role requires a strong analytical thinking and a result oriented person. You should have commercial awareness and understand importance of aftermarket business impact on Volvo Groups revenue.
