We are now looking for a new sales person with focus on special interest groups (SIG). Your mission is to identify target groups, create & market products, close agreements and execute theme sailings. You will act as sales representative towards group partner sales (companies, associations, schools etc) offering incentive events and reason for travel such as conferences, kick-off etc. You will focus on onboard events and arrange selected theme cruises promoting events together with local partners. The position reports to route marketing manager Swedish market.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Find new customer segments, partners and sales channels.
• Sales work is primarily aimed at associations, companies, associations and various organizations (Special Interest Groups).
• Arrange theme cruises and onboard events together with Onboard Sales & Service.
• Negotiations and closing agreements.
• Create products & set pricing in collaboration with Revenue Management.
• Sales & marketing according to overall revenue and cost targets, in cooperation with Route Marketing Manager
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Secondary education is needed.
• Post graduate education is meritorious.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Direct sales experience.
• Experience from event planning & arrangement.
• Experience off: set, monitor and meet targets according to route & market budget.
• Networking skills.
• Ability to Identify new sales opportunities from social media channels and digital media.
• A great hunger for creating new partnerships & product development.
As a person we would like you to be passionate and willing to step outside of comfort zone. Be innovative, creative and bring fresh ideas to the team. Furthermore be well-disciplined to follow a project or idea to completion. You have an open and proactive approach.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Karlskrona. Probationary for 6 months. We have Swedish collective agreements. Employment will start as soon as possible after recruitment. Some travel will be required within Sweden and to Poland and also onboard our vessels.
