Operational Manager

to our Distribution Centre in Nässjö

JYSK Nordic is looking for a new operational manager to our automatic distribution centre in Nässjö. You will report to our Logistic Manager.

You will have an exciting job and we expect you to be visionary and think outside the box, but at the same time, to have hands on approach in operation. You will be a member of the leadership team ? and be the leader of almost one hundred employees.

JYSK is developing in a very positive direction, and right now we are planning a huge expansion of our warehouse. This is an immense development opportunity personal and professional in an international company with highly motivated and professional employees in Nässjö. They are all looking forward for you to start.

Your main tasks:

• To ensure an effective and efficient operation in a cost efficient and service minded way
• Optimize internal and external processes and procedures continuously
• Support and help logistic manager in driving results through three competent team leaders
• Set direction and follow up on task to ensure results
• Ensure relevant information and communication to the team

How can you make a difference every day?

• You have extensive experience as a leader within logistics, transportation or production, this from an international company with excellent and proven results
• Preferable you have a relevant education within logistics and lean and you must have high business understanding and acumen
• You have demonstrated that visibility, coaching and communication go hand in hand with good results.
• You are a motivating and hands-on leader, setting tough objectives for yourself and the team.
• You are confident when dealing with tough situations, convince others to have ideas and create new options.
• Systematic, analytical, logical and practical approach in order to get things done in the right way.
• Experience with budget, follow up etc.
• Fluent English language skills: spoken as well as written.
