hela Sverige MUJI was founded in 1980. Its origin was a thorough rationalization of the manufacturing process with an eye to creating simple, low-cost, good quality products. Specifically, we reexamined products through three lenses: material selection, inspection process and packaging simplification. For instance, if you omit the bleaching process for pulp, the resulting paper is light beige in color. MUJI used this paper for its packaging and labels. The ensuing products are remarkably pure and fresh. In notable contrast to the prevailing over-embellished products in the marketplace, MUJI's products both won great appreciation and sent shock waves not only through Japan but across the entire world.
Reporting to the Managing Director, and working closely with the operation assistant, the jobholder will be supporting the HR and Payroll activities for MUJI Sweden as well as general administration work. The role is very varied and includes involvement in recruitment, system administration, contract issuing and ER activities. There will also be opportunities to support in different projects across MUJI Sweden
Role and responsibilities
HR & Administration
• Ownership of all new starters and leaver HR administration processes
• Ensure maintenance of the employee files is kept up to date.
• Check right to work permits and ensure that checks and follow ups are carried out.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports.
• Travel booking responsible for the office.
• Support in planning events and activities.
Payroll
• Maintain the HR and Payroll calendar and ensure that the deadlines are met.
• Administer the HR system and communicate with Payroll Provider
Recruitment:
• Support the recruitment activity
• Forward planning to be able to anticipate needs and meet time to hire deadlines.
Knowledge and skills
• Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and take initiative.
• Employment law knowledge.
• Approachable and able to build relationships with staff at all levels.
• High level of attention to detail with good analytical and numeracy skills.
• Computer literate with intermediate skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Education and experience
• Previous HR experience in retail or a similar environment.
• Knowledge of ADP System is highly advantageous.
