You will work closely with the Narrative Director to make sure that the missions serve the larger narrative arcs and themes, and you will work closely with the Game Director to make sure that missions and the activities therein well reflect the existing gameplay loops and create the intended experiences.

This is a permanent position based in Malmö, Sweden, and requires working onsite.

You as a person

You are a game master at heart. You love to create situations that present players with enough context and information to feel engaged, but just enough that it's fun for them to figure out the solution themselves. You understand the delicate balance you have to strike between the joy of a crafted experience on one hand and the sanctity of player agency and co-authorship on the other. You know that missions rely heavily on the physical space in which you play and the core gameplay contained therein, so you instinctively collaborate with the game design and world teams.
