Job Description

Beiersdorf is now searching for a driven, team-oriented, and digitally-savvy Marketing Communication Manager for its Nordic headquarters in Gothenburg. Your responsibility is to localize the global marketing strategy of our Eucerin and Hansaplast brands for the local market. You will work together with your colleagues as a team to strengthen our organization with excellent digital competence. You will be responsible both for our digital marketing efforts as well as developing the skills of the entire team. Of course, like all of us at Beiersdorf, you should be driven by a strong consumer focus and a constant pursuit of development and improvement in an entrepreneurial culture.

Main resposibilities

• Marketing Strategy - Defines the Marketing strategy for the market. Accountable for all marketing activities.
• Product Marketing Plan Process - Steers the planning process, ensures Beiersdorf has clear plans for communication investments and activities, launches/relaunches which aligns with the targets, supported by marketing team.
• Digitalisation of Market Communication - Constant development of our digital approach and strategy. Secures digital capabilities and constant learning within the team. Strong digital purchaser towards agencies and partners.
• Brand performance - Steers Brand performance and market share development, with support from the team. Based on digital KPI decides on correct actions to drive the brand.
• Communication Steering and Sign off - Responsible for all communication material to consumers to ensure it meets the local requirements from a legislative, market and consumer perspective. Secure alignment with and support the communication to professionals.
• PR and Issue Management - Responsible for effective PR and responsible for issue management on all platforms and channels.
• Marketing budget.
• Team management - Lead and support the Marketing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business/ marketing/ degree. Master preferred.
• 8-10 years relevant job experience in Marketing Management and Communication, preferably FMCG.
• 2-5 year years minimum experience of digital marketing and sales, with proven track record.
• Experience of Project management.
• Holistic business understanding.
• Leadership experience.
• Excellent language skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• International experience is valued.
