Overview:
We are searching for a Managing Director with a proven track record in growing the customer base of an online consumer service, portal or social networking business. Experience in administration, entrepreneurship and marketing is preferred, and experience in internet business and/or the music industry is highly desirable.
Your responsibilities:
Your role will be to develop and implement the strategic business plan. This is a high growth business, so expect to need to meet high targets without always having the desirable resources. You will contribute to the product development plan in order to ensure the businesses growth targets are achieved.
Your qualities:
• Highly motivated and hard-worker with the ability to deliver to challenging deadlines.
• International experience.
• Ability to see the big picture, and work in the details
• Results oriented - meeting targets and earning bonuses are your motivation
• Ability to work in a young growing team
Experience and skills:
You MUST have experience from similar types of roles, with a minimum of 12 years relevant work experience. In addition, you have the following experience and skills:
• Very strong international network
• Development of marketing plans and budgeting
• Growing a successful "entrepreneurial" business
• Success in fundraising
• Experience working in several countries
• New media sector (internet, music, media)
• Managing the briefing of creative teams
• Demonstrated success in managing online marketing campaigns
• Knowledge of online advertising businesses
• Customer- and supplier-facing experience
Fluency in English (other Scandinavian or Russian languages a plus).
