The newly established business line Service & Installation is ramping up for growth. Therefore, we are looking for a Manager Warehouses to lead the warehouse and logistics operations in Karlskrona.
About the position
As Manager Warehouses Sweden you will lead and motivate a team of 6 employees. Together with your team you will ensure that construction tools, installation tools and materials are delivered to sites in time and in full shape. You will oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment and ensure their certification for onshore and offshore works.
Some of your responsibilities are to:
• Ensure tools are checked, packed for site works, shipped and received
• Develop strategies for equipment returned from projects, i.e. sell, scrap or maintain the equipment
• Develop, optimize and manage the department, it 's processes, IT-processes and organization of the Swedish warehouses and implement the necessary tools and apps to increase the overall efficiency
• Bring best practice of processes and tools to other locations in Denmark and Germany
• Drive commercialization process of tool rental across Europe
• Ensure processes & procedures are followed and their effectiveness is tracked
• Ensure work is carried out according to highest HSE standards and run projects to improve on safety.
• Optimize utilization of tools. Decide on optimal tool allocation to projects
• Manage external service providers performing work in the warehouse
Your Profile
You hold a university degree in business studies or similar and you have at least five years of running a warehouse as well as experience in leading teams. You may have a former experience from implementing IT-systems, working with process and system design but your personality is equally important.
We assume you are a self-driven and motivated person, proactively proposing solutions and setting the agenda. To succeed in this role, you need to have a highly process orientated way of working as well as strong analytical skills. The ability to communicate and build relationship with your team as well as motivate them to work process- and team orientated will also be crucial.
Since the role, among other, includes coordination of implementation of a warehouse management system it is important that you have some IT understanding and documented experience from SAP or other ERP system as well as a good understanding of databases.
Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken is a requirement.
