hela Sverige An Experienced Manager with hands on knowledge of AEW, Sensors and System Design to lead and develop an engineering team with Design Responsibility
Your role
As Manager of System Design you will be Design Responsible for Sensors and Communication products purchased as a complement to our product portfolio.
You will lead and coach a group of 13 experienced system engineers towards common strategic goals, and develop common tools and adopt processes, such as the Integrated Product Creation (IPC), to support and facilitate their work. You will promote creativity, new ideas, business thinking and cooperation.
As a manager of System Design Sensors and Communication, you will be a natural part of the System Design Leadership Team with individual areas of responsibility but also take part in other groups' challenges. Your individual experiences and strengths will contribute to create an engaging, including work environment in line with our vision to strengthen our employees, and increasing the level of self-governance in our teams.
As manager within System Design you also contribute to the overall development of PU Mission System and close cooperation with other groups within the PU and BU, as well as with the Engineering, Strategic Purchasing and the Marketing and Sales departments.
Your profile
We are looking for a person with passion for our products and a strong belief in the competence and commitment from our employees. You are a confident Leader with the ability to drive change and progress. You hold at least a bachelor degree in a technical field or have equivalent work experience and have great interest in technology and a desire to continuously evolve our products and improve customer satisfaction.
You find support in our processes and adopt them to improve progress and output. You create good conditions for structure.
You are a coaching leader who actively build relationships within and across the organization. Your communicative skills and ability to share knowledge, inspire, motivate and empower the organization will be of outmost importance.
You are available for international business travel and are fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be a part of
Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, as well as traffic management systems.

It has offices around the world, with the largest site being Gothenburg (SE). The PU has around 110 employees, whereof 40 is working at System Design.
