Transforming the industry entails a major transformation in our business model and ways of working, increased complexity, higher demand for cross-functional collaboration, and addressing continuously evolving strategic challenges. This creates a unique and dynamic environment for the management of the business, requiring intensive support from the Project Management Office (PMO) team.
We are now looking for a Manager PMO who will head up the PMO team and be part of the central function team called Strategy & Program Delivery based on Stockholm.

Role summary:
You will report to the Director Strategy & Program Delivery and be responsible for providing standardized structure to our Nordic project management efforts. You will be the enabler for business growth following strategic priorities through projects while accountable for the project delivery process/mechanisms.

Main accountabilities:
• Provide oversight of the full project portfolio under PMO scope within markets, across functions and cluster channels. Based on project prioritization framework, also provide insights and suggestions to management teams on how to adapt.
• Ensure project management governance process is followed, enabling business to achieve given objectives.
• Regularly review, refine and improve project governance as required for Nordic context and with changing business.
• Follow global guidance in terms of project progress tracking within group tools.
• Lead complex projects with concrete benefit to the business.
• Ensure Project Leads follow given PMI standards with focus on prioritization and results tracking.
• Lead project submission process, ensuring right project selection and alignment to business strategy.
• Establish governance standards to monitor project progress, identify risks and opportunities and report to senior management, enabling further decision taking.
• Be the guardian of the project evaluation framework, to ensure project participants throughout the organisation are rated and rewarded for their work in projects.
• Manage interdependencies and coordination across cross-functional projects.
• Guide and coach project managers to ensure optimal project delivery for which they are accountable.
• Set standards & processes, equip market organization with methodologies and templates. Support organization on process mapping if needed.
• Manage and develop PMO junior team member/s to act as PBO role models and ensure alignment on Nordics overall PBO strategies.

Who you are
• University degree in Business Administration, Finance or other relevant field
• +5 years of experience of successfully delivering complex Program/ Projects across multi-stakeholder environments
• Strong influencing and collaboration skills; able to advise and constructively challenge senior team members
• Excellent organisational skills and time management
• Experience in leading, motivating and developing people and teams
• Fluency in English is required for this role
• Process development & management experience
• Strong problem-solving, conceptual skills, task prioritization, follow-up, tenacity, creativity and customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across written, verbal and presentation formats to a variety of audience
