Operations IT is a global IT capability supporting the Global Operations organisation. We business partner with Operations capability areas: Pharmaceutical Technology Development, Manufacturing & Global Engineering, Quality Control, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Logistics and Global External Sourcing and Procurement. We operate out of Operations hubs sites including the UK, Sweden, US, and China; and out of our Global Technology Centres in India and Mexico.
This is what you'll do
You will have the fantastic opportunity to play a key role and contribute to transform the business, through analyzing complex business and system opportunities. The team to lead is a group of highly skilled Business Analysts working in different technology areas. The team 's accountability also includes system ownership of some business critical applications, all vital to the Södertälje production unit 's success. This agile team help bridge the gap between the business and other IT teams in our organization to improve efficiency. They proactively seek out opportunities to enhance and improve processes and technology solutions in line with strategic goals, ensuring that the solutions delivered to the business are efficient and effective, meeting the customer experience expectations. This role will maintain a deep understanding of the business in multiple functional areas, as well as understand the application landscape and capabilities. You will analyze the business process, lead process and technical discussions, facilitate solution definition, and successfully integrate business processes, roles and technology to ensure business objectives are met. In addition to identifying new solutions, the role will proactively find ways to improve current processes/solutions, ensuring they are fully optimized and scalable. You will partner with Senior Business Partners/Business Partners to ensure the quality of business cases, oversee business process design and ensure that proposed solutions meet established AstraZeneca quality and compliance standards, and customer experience needs. As the manager for the team, you operate with a high level of interactive communication to set clear direction for others, demonstrating high levels of inclusion and cultural sensitivity. In addition, you will lead and mentor other Business Analysts to develop their skills, drive consistent ways of working across our organization and share best practices in relevant communities of practice. You will also assess the workload across the team to best execute projects depending on prioritizations set, staff capabilities and aspiration. You will also be part of the OpsIT Sweden region leadership team and work closely with peer leaders to drive innovative change while maintaining the right IT system functionality.
The role holder will mainly master and drive:
* As part of the Sweden regional IT leadership team set the strategic direction and tactical priorities for the region
* Line manage your direct reports and ensure objectives and development plans are established and pursued, while ensuring a great place to work
* Work with other Regional Leadership teams, as well as other region/site stakeholders and Business Process Owners to propose and deliver solutions to achieve agreed outcomes
* As the application system owner strategically plan for system enhancements and overall life cycle management and ensure that current technologies are fully exploited for business benefit.
* Collaborate with colleagues across IT and across other functions to identify the capabilities required to ensure project and work packages can be delivered
* Hands on leadership, planning, coordination, and delivery of projects across functions or internationally in own dedicated field
* Lead or contribute in standardizing, continuously improving and developing our business processes
Requirements
You are an excellent collaborator and leader, with the capacity to coach and influence others in every day interactions, as well as in presentations and negotiations. We see that you have experience in working with complex integrated systems, using creative and strategic thinking to deliver exceptional results.
You will also need:
* Project management or line management experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English including presenting (Swedish language skills not mandatory but highly advantageous
* Excellent influencing, networking and team working skills
* Experience from a regulated environment
* Experience of working with and managing third party suppliers/vendors
* Experience of managing high levels of risk by making complex judgements, developing innovative solutions and applying a comprehensive multi-functional and industry understanding
* A customer-centric mindset with the drive to understand the end users to collaboratively optimize our service and deliveries
