Shared Services Center (SSC) is part of Service Development & Operations (SD&O), at Group IT. SSC drive consolidation of responsibility and service establishment for all shared services (e.g. Data & Information services, Integration services and application hosting services). As well as optimise delivery of shared services and drive reduction in number of technologies. As a member of Group IT you will be a key leader in a global organisation with a clear vision to provide competitive advantage from IT. In Group IT the Service Development and Operations department is responsible for developing, maintaining and optimizing end to end IT services. Through projects, applications and infrastructure operations the department fulfils a vital role in securing business value and operational efficiency for IT services. We are in a challenging and expansion phase and therefore need to recruit a new Manager for SharePoint Cloud Services. The scope of the role could be redefined and scope could grow depending on SSC transformation, which is a journey we are undertaking.
As Manager Cloud Applications at SSC you will lead and have the overall responsibility for maintenance, support and operation of all the services and platforms within Microsoft O365 Service. Strategy and tactical implementations for the services, budget and Microsoft O365 EDOS Agreement will also be part of your role. Together we strive to strengthen the cross functional cooperation between other departments within Group IT, where you will be an important key player.
Main responsibilities
• Drive, lead and/or participate in implementation of corporate/IT initiatives within Group IT
• Responsible for Governance of SharePoint O365 cross Group IT
• Define the Service level agreement of the assigned services and ensure that it's being met
• Manage, mentor and develop the group - ensuring employee development and contribute to goals of Volvo Car Group; Employer of choice
Required qualifications
• An academic background within relevant field
• Strong leadership and team building skills
• Management experience from leading application development teams, maintenance organisation or large projects
• Solid understanding of IT as an integrated part of the Volvo Car Group business
• Thorough understanding of the concept of Web portals such as Intranet
• Overall SharePoint knowledge in particular Office 365 dedicated
• Fluent English, written and spoken
