What we do at the UX Center of excellence is to infuse UX & Front End Development best practises into the application development process thereby improving the user experience & customer satisfaction. ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are now looking for a leader who can take the User Experience area within Volvo Group IT and globally to the next level. You will cooperate with various stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment, therefore we value your innovative and creative mind-set in order to inspire and challenge the organization. And maybe most important, you will get the opportunity to build & develop a thriving group of nice people within the area of UX/UI/Front-end.
Some of the fun stuff you will do:
Lead & develop a team consisting of 20 great UX strategists, UX designers and Front-end Architects& developers
Lead the technology roadmap & development of the UX/Front-end area at Volvo Group IT
Engage and interact with the rest of our IT organization to make sure we create the best possible value
Resposible for the development of services, methods and way of working for UX/Front-end ensuring that we are in the forefront of standards, technologies and trends
Resposible for trainings, support and coaching in UX/Front-end area
Build up skills in the UX& Front End Development area within the organization together with partners, vendors, association with university or other ways

WHO ARE YOU?
In his role we are looking for someone with previous group management experience and naturally have a genuine interest for developing and coaching people. We see a clear advantage if you have experience within the field of UX and Front-end but it 's not a must. You will have frequent contacts across a global organization and multi-cultural organization, therefore communication, presentation and networking skills are paramount.
We would like you to have a university degree or education on similar level.
And also, we are a global company, good skills in English is a requirement.
