WORK DESCRIPTION
It all started under the cloud-ridden April sky of yet another belated Swedish spring in 2008. Two friends had a vision: to spread happiness by turning an everyday essential into a colourful design piece with a rigid standard of ultimate quality, craftsmanship and creativity. A concept now brought to perfection by the Happy Socks collective of creators.

Today Happy Socks are sold in more than 70 countries and on every continent.

To the offices in central Stockholm, currently housing approximately 30 employees, Happy Socks is now recruiting a Logistic Project Manager for a short-term assignment. We are currently in a process of changing warehouse and need a person to oversee the physical move and closely follow up the operational start at the new warehouse. The employment is a project of 2 months starting beginning of May

Currently we operate a production department and logistics department, from the middle of June, we decided to change the organization to become one department, only working with one supply department, further recruited a senior supply chain manager. As part of this change the logistics manager as anticipated resigned from her position. Her last day will be 18th of May. This gives us a discrepancy in management of the department and the very crucial warehouse change. The new supply chain manager starts the 17th of June. A continued position within the department is big possibility as we are one person short to what we have planned. But our intention is that the new SCM will be responsible for recruiting this position and also defining new roles and responsibilities within department.

LOGISTIC PROJECT MANAGER
• Finalize implementation of warehouse change; physical move and start up in new warehouse, close follow ups

• Supervise over all flow of transports from our factories

• Day to day operational matters in cooperation with current team (of 2, coordinating orders and shipments and assisting with warehouse move)

• Stock overview report, bi-weekly

• Follow up warehouse costs and invoices

REQUIREMENTS
• Fluent in English

• Skilled in Microsoft office and great understanding of business systems
