hela Sverige The Institute of Health and Care Sciences offers education programmes for nurses, radiology nurses, midwives and specialist nurses. The undergraduate programmes for nurses and radiographers lead to a professional degree as well as a bachelor's degree. The training of midwives and specialist nurses with different orientations lead to a professional registration in combination with a master's degree. All the professional programmes at an undergraduate level lead to a professional registration. Moreover, freestanding courses are offered at an advanced level, and provide an opportunity for continued studies towards a master's degree in one of the institute's main topics; nursing, reproductive and perinatal health, radiography and health care pedagogics. The Institute also runs a postgraduate programme leading to a PhD degree in Health Care Sciences.
SUBJECT AREA DESCRIPTION:
The health care sciences focus on human experiences and impressions of ill-health, disease and suffering in relation to recovery and the maintenance and promotion of health, as well as to biological constructs, and sociocultural structures. In health care research, central themes involve the learning individual and the organization of care provision.
JOB ASSIGNMENTS:
Responsibilities include teaching qualitative and quantitative methods at an undergraduate and advanced level, both within the independent courses and all the programmes provided by the Institute. A further requirement is the supervision and examination of students at an undergraduate and advanced level in all the courses that are given at the institution. The assignment as a course coordinator involves the development and coordination of learning objectives, learning activities, assessment and assessment criteria in relation to the content, purpose and current pedagogical research, and also the quality assurance of the programme using validated evaluation methods. The applicant shall actively work towards achieving the objectives and operational plans in place at the Institute. Participation in planned joint meetings and activities is expected. The applicant must be able to teach in both Swedish and English.
ELIGIBILITY:
Completed university education at the least advanced level and shown pedagogical skills.
ASSESSMENT:
First assessment criterion is pedagogical skills and knowledge within the field of Health and Care Sciences. During the assessment of the applicant, importance will be given to administrative skills and the ability to cooperate with the surrounding society and effectively provide information about research and development work. The applicant's cooperation skills will also be considered. The applicant must be able to teach in both Swedish and English.
