Vattenfall IT is the internal provider of IT for the entire Vattenfall. The organisation is divided into three units - IT Demand, IT Supply and Group IT. IT Supply Infrastructure Transformation & Security within IT Supply is a compliant service integrator/supplier that combines Vattenfall and IT knowledge.
Main tasks & responsibilities as Lean Manager
As Lean Manager you are responsible for the definition and management of the initiatives in the area of continuous improvement within IT Infrastructure (FIO). The Lean Manager specifies the overall requirements and goals for each Lean project/initiative. You will report to Head of Transformation & Security (FIOE).
Main activities & responsibilities:
• Gathering and aligning new demands for Lean projects and initiatives in all departments within FIO
• Undertaking complex and detailed analysis of performance processes and identify areas for improvement
• Overall coordination of Lean projects within FIO and appropriate reporting to all stakeholders
• Drive and enhance a culture of continuous improvement across the FIO organization
• Managing communication within FIO (newsletters, information meetings?)
• Responsible for education initiatives related to Lean
Qualifications and Personal Skills as Lean Manager
We are looking for a Lean Manager who looks further, does not accept the status quo and understands that the road to Continuous Improvement requires more than a few successful process improvements. You can create commitment and enthusiasm for the Lean philosophy in the organisation. You can win the trust of employees and can secure improvements in the operation. You believe there can be made improvements every day. With your enthusiasm and your knowledge you can guide the people within an organization step by step to a culture of Continuous Improvement.
Furthermore preferably you have / are
• A relevant university degree
• Several years of experience in using LEAN or similar experience within change projects
• Preferably Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified of LEAN Practitioner
• Experience and knowledge of operational management (performance management, capacity management and continuous improvement)
• Understand the people side of Lean and have excellent coaching and team development skills. You have the drive to make people and teams better
• Enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and result driven.
