We are now looking for a Lead Engineer - Vehicle Diagnostics Architecture!
Description
The Electrical Architecture department, that you will be part of, is part of an organization responsible for Electrical- and Mechanical Integration & Design, within Nevs R&D.
You will be a part of a team of engineers, with responsibility for the complete Electrical Architecture including general electrical requirement, function design, electrical interfaces and electrical integration.
Our vehicles support diagnostics using UDS based on ISO 14229, ISO 15765-2 and ISO 15765-3 both with a connected tester and over-the-air including software download over-the-air. As Lead Engineer - Diagnostic System Architecture you will be responsible for the vehicle level architecture implementing the vehicle diagnostics. You will collaborate with a broad network of engineers including Function Engineer Design teams, Component Owners, Product Lifecycle Management and other architects in the Electrical Architecture team to ensure a stable architecture fulfilling the needs of the organization.
The role involves:
- Defining architectural requirements and guidelines for Vehicle Diagnostics
- Drive the work with the logical design of the Vehicle Diagnostics
- Ensuring that the design is aligned with other areas and following the architecture requirements
- Support the organization with competence in the Vehicle Diagnostics domain
- Drive and participate in different fora related to the electrical architecture
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ways-of-working for related processes
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience from electronics and software development in the automotive industry
- Experience from MBSE using SysML
- Good knowledge of UDS and ISO 14229, ISO 15765-2 and ISO 15765-3
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license B
