We are now looking for a Junior Scientific Expert with a main focus to support the SBT Team (Sexual Transmitted Infections, Blood-Borne Viruses and TB Team) at ECDC (European Centre for disease control).

The assignment will start at the beginning of January 2024. For the right person there is a good chance of getting extended beyond the original contract. Responsibilities
• Assistance with the network meeting planned in April 2024
Contribute to the planning of the meeting and preparatory documents
Coordinate presentations and presenters prior to the meeting
Support the meeting logistics
Contribute to the review of the meeting report
• Support the 2024 work on SoHO* guidelines:
Contribute to the collection of evidence for Hepatitis B and C
Coordinate the review rounds and updates of the evidence sheet Hepatitis B/C
Drafting meeting minutes
Coordinate the external review and support addressing the comments on the HIV guideline
• Support the network review and support the clearance of the TBEV report
Qualifications
Education at university level in an area related to the activities of ECDC such as medicine, public health or similar
At least 1 year professional experience relevant to the scientific area
Preferably knowledge of communicable diseases
Meeting planning and implementation skills
Experience with collection and reporting of evidence for evidence based medicine guideline development
Very good English language skills
Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
Very good MS office skills
