Your role

We are looking for an Junior Sales Director to join our Marketing & Sales Airborne unit focusing on Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) systems, fighter radars, missile data links and laser rangefinders. The unit consists of 8-10 people.

The Junior Sales Director will work with a variety of activities within the team in order to support development of ongoing business initiatives. These activities will include working close to our Sales Directors and focus to further increase attention on areas important for the organization, that can increase our probability to win contracts.



The position also includes opportunity to interact and cooperate with other business and product units within Saab.



Some travelling will be required. These travels can both be related to specific customer interactions, internal Saab initiatives, as well as general marketing events such as exhibitions and tradeshows.

Your profile

We are looking for an Junior Sales Director with ambition to increase business understanding and leadership skills with through participating in international sales activites. As a person, you have a strong drive, entrenourship and willingness to learn.



Analytical skills are very important not only to understand the customer requirements and system solutions, but also to manage all the financial analysis and impact of our proposals.



Good presenting and communication skills is mandatory as well as the ability to produce result in a complex international sales environment.



Technical or business degree from university and/or experience from marketing and sales is required.



You will have to manage English in a business environment both orally and in writing, Swedish or another Scandinavian language is very much preferable.

What you will be a part of

Business area Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and command and control solutions.



Business unit Radar Solutions has global responsibility for Saab's airborne surveillance solutions and fighter radar, as well as ground-based and naval surface radar systems. The business unit is also responsible for missile datalinks and laser rangefinders. The unit has around 1100 employees and offices around the world, with the largest sites being Gothenburg and Syracuse.



Marketing & Sales unit Radar Solution is responsible for all marketing and sales activites within winning business to secure customer contracts, ranging from system solutions to services business.



The unit work closely with our Product Units and other Business Areas within Saab, as well as Saab 's different Market Areas. Marketing & Sales Radar Solution has around 40 employees.

This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act
