Job Description
As a Pricing Analyst, you will be working cross-functionally with BI, Sales/G2M, Product, and finance teams using analytics to unlock value from the pricing side. In this role, you will act as a pricing consultant to the rest of the Merchant Services organization when it comes to price management and price optimization. You will work with your team members on central initiatives and organizational change related to scientific price management.
Your day-to-day responsibilities
Working with product teams & G2M on (new) product value definition & monetization, ensuring sound translation to price list & delegation rules with respective G2M Pricing Expert.
Conduct profitability, price sensitivity, risks and scenario analysis and see opportunities for price optimization to present recommendations to internal partners.
Monitor competitors offering and pricing to perform positioning analyses, and translate the detailed analytical results into clear, concise, and practical pricing insights to all levels within the organization.
Maintain a thorough understanding of Worldline pricing, product, and commercial processes, underlying systems to optimally analyze relevant internal and external data.
Collaborate with Pricing Managers, BI Teams & Data Engineers, Sales, Product, Finance and IT to operationalize various pricing solutions and price management frameworks.
Skills we can't do without
Master's degree in the area of Business, Management, Engineering, or Data Science.
You have proven experience in roles that have included quantitative analysis, and exposure to the commercial organization and senior management.
You are self-directed with an innovative mind, focus on creativity and "think out of the box" to generate new price optimization concepts.
You have strong attention to detail, at the same time, you are able to see the big picture of strategic implications for the business.
You understand that insight needs to be woven into a story for both technical and non-technical audiences.
You are proficient in the English language.
Skills we'd like and signs of success
End-user knowledge of Qlik, Tableau, or other BI software.
Exposure to designing, developing, and implementing price testing and optimization methodologies.
Experience in advanced analytical tools and related languages such as R Studio, Python, SQL is nice to have.
